THE ART OF GIVING

THE ART OF GIVING: Thanks for stopping by and getting involved in this great opportunity. In starting off the new year, Christine and I decided to put together a challenge blog that would not only provide you with inspiration and free goodies, but to also let you know about the many ways we can "PAY IT FORWARD" to others in our lives...in simple and GIGANTIC ways. We hope that in combining both inspiration and giving to others, we can all make this world a better place, one layout, card, and gesture at a time. Thank you for taking this journey with us.

Yay!! :0) Just adds to my Mother's Day goodness! Thank you so much!!

I didn't do anything out of the ordinary today. Woke-up at 8am to flowers, Heavenly, and a waffle maker....made everyone waffles for breakfast. Aside from that, I've done some cleaning and laundry and a lot of laying around!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day!!! Thank you again!

I was feeling kind of low, because I didn't think my daughter was coming home (she's at college and has finals next week). But when my husband and I came home from dinner, guess who was here! She wanted to surprise me and is spending the night.
Of course, now I'm feeling guilty that she's not at school studying!!

Oh how exciting!! Memorable seasons is my favorite place to shop, thank you!

It was a nice relaxing mothers day. I got to sleep in and then the kids came running at me with their cards. We went to church and then the men of the church treated us to a fish fry where we weren't allowed to do any work at all.

    Happy Mother's Day to all.
I had a lovely day. It started with breakfast with my hubby, ds and mother in law. I opened presents which included a perfume and a day at the SPA...wooo hooo I can't wait for that...then we went to Butterfly World it was just a beautiful day, a gorgeous walk in the gardens, tons of butterflies and great pics. I can't wait to make a layout and share with everyone.

Life here has beena wee bit, while alot out of the ordinary. My husband was in a motor vechile accident in January, and sustanined severe head injuries. He was not well and it's taken a long time for him to get back on his feet.
Mother's Day was special cause him and Taylor made breakfast, served it to me at the kitchen table and then cleaned up the dishes. We spent a loved filled day and then for dinner hubby bbqed us a wonderful meal. after dinner it was my turn to clean up the kitchen while hubby and Taylor played about and watched tv. Special why, cause a bit ago I thought hubby would never be able to go back to "normal" whatever that is, everyday activities. He able to do most things but not without pain.
Taylor's a daddy's girl and the day was special because we all had together time that was fun.
